DIAN informs that, starting November 1, 2019, the issuance of certificates of origin from Colombia to Chile under the Pacific Alliance Agreement will be 100% digital. Meanwhile, the Republic of Chile, under the same agreement, will issue certificates of origin destined for Colombia in both digital and physical formats. To access digital certificates of origin, users may log in to the designated website using the username and password “consulta/consulta.” It is important to note that once the digital certificate of origin is approved by the competent authority in the country of origin, it will be available for consultation by the customs authority. Certificates of origin for exports to Peru under the Pacific Alliance Agreement will continue to be issued in physical format.
